Since I just recently posted some our updates, I'll keep this brief. I unfortunately can't seem to find Isla's 5 month photos, but I swear we took them! I'll have to keep looking, but here are the past 2 months. During her 5 month, she was just a happy little rolly-polly baby, and she still is, but she was mostly just happy to hang out in her swing or on the floor with her hands and feet. But during month 6, she started spontaneously sitting up just one day. On a whim, Quinn sat her up between his legs and she maintained that position, we were all kind of surprised, including her. She was still waking up at least once a night to nurse. We have not been those lucky parents that have babies that sleep through the night at some crazy (I really mean wonderful and we are totally envious) age of like 6 or 8 weeks old. Nope, our babies like to wake up for some yum-yums or just comfort. And baby Isla was one of those babies that REALLY loved to sleep in our bed. I know...so many opinions of co-sleeping and what not. But when you're just so tired and just want rest, you can easily be persuaded to do about anything. And honestly, it was a sweet time and we were just talking about how we kind of miss it, but not on a nightly basis of course. Now month 7 rolls around and she IS sleeping in her own crib and THROUGH the night. Yup, this has been happening for 2 weeks and 5 nights now, but who's counting. I have to say the extra, uninterrupted sleep has been so welcomed. After 7 months, but really more like 9 months, since sleep the last 2 months of pregnancy is pretty terrible, I feel almost like a new person. So this month she is sleeping AND she just cut her first two teeth!! It was actually kind of a surprise, she is constantly a water faucet of drool, but I just happened to be looking and there they were! She is still taking her sweet time crawling or even really getting up on her knees, but we know it'll happen and then the party is on ,and crawling will be close behind. It's funny, after the first baby and anticipating all their milestones, with subsequent babies, you're just like, ahh, it'll happen when it happens. The days of this "golden period" as they call it are numbered, this when they stay where you sat them down last. We do look forward to her becoming mobile eventually, but no rush baby! I have no idea what she weighs, our last Pediatrician visit was her 6 month and she was weighing in at 15 pounds, 23 1/2 inches in length. But she is a tank now, just like Sam was. Since she started eating solids, and 3 meals a day, she has totally chunked out. And those chub-o little thighs are so adorable. Even her wrists are chubby. We were wondering what you call fat little wrists. If thick ankles are cankles, then what are wrists? Whatever they are, they are the cutest and most kissable. I'm not sure about other babies of this age, but she loves to attack your face and easy to reach extremities. She'll all the sudden grab your entire face and try to such on your check, chin, joule, whatever she can get her fat little wrists a hold of. It's hysterical, but sometimes hurts because she has a kung-fu grip for a baby. But when she plants a sweet, drool soaked and sometimes teeth included kiss on your face, you kind of melt. So much for keeping this post brief

Poor baby, she was at the tail end of being really sick during month 6. You can see her poor little left eye is still swollen. She had a terrible case of Conjunctivitis (pink eye) that racked our entire family. |

| A Saint Patrick's day picture. Still sporting her pink eye. |

| 7 months old and getting so big! |
 |
| Sitting so big!! |
 |
| Her serious face |

She really has beautiful eyes, they look very dark in this picture. But they are brown in the center and blue around the outside. I hope they don't change, they are very unique looking. They make Quinn nervous, such beautiful eyes for a sweet girl! |

| But never fear, Sam is near. This picture cracks me up. Sam's serious and protective face. He pretty much has her in a head lock. He is her biggest fan and protector. |
I cannot get over how beautiful they both are!! I can't believe Isla is 7 months :)
