Here is a post nearly a month late about Trae's graduation from Haven High school, and making the trip back to Kansas to proudly watch him walk across the stage! We were also able to be home to celebrate Mother's Day with Mom, which is maybe the first time a several years. We had a great trip and it was so nice to be home in the Spring rather than just over the holidays. It was hectic as usual, but not as hectic as during Christmas, so we were able to visit and catch up with lots of people. I was able to see my good friend Kyly and her two boys, Anderson and Spencer, which was great catch up time. My Aunt Yvonne and Aunt Dixie, and Grandma Mar made the visit to Halstead to see everyone and then my Cousins Mary, Susan and Uncle Rich from Colorado Springs also made the trip, so it was a mini family reunion. Needless to say, Anna, Eric and the twins flew in from California and then Verna, Sam and I drove in from Texas. Poor Quinn was left at home to work and house hunt (more on house hunting later). So it was a lovely visit and it is nearly impossible to believe that our Trae is going to be a Freshman at Fort Hays this Fall semester. We just couldn't be more proud of him and his brothers Tanner and Tyler. Congratulations to Trae, we all look forward to the adventures you are about the embark upon, our sweet-sweet boy!

Seriously, these guys were just babies, like last week. It is mind blowing. Especially Tyler's hair, what is up with your hair dude! |

| This makes my heart happy. Despite Trae's super exciting and busy graduation day, he took the time to sit and visit with Grandma on the farm who is now 88 years old. Such a good Great grandson. |

| Mother's Day. Aunt Verna is getting a work out pulling all the kiddo's. |

Grandma was just so photogenic and cute. Here she is with her Mother's Day corsage and enjoying the afternoon sitting outside and visiting with the family |

And Papa, couldn't leave him out. He is now is just now in the beginning stages of cutting wheat this week. |

Mary and Grandma. The girls and Uncle Rich made the special trip from Colorado to Kansas to spend Mother's Day with Grandma. Such sweet family we have. |
 |
| Grandma and Sam, playing trucks and reading, all at the same time. |
 |
| Happy Mama's day to me, I couldn't have a sweet boy to celebrate with. |

| So Papa is known for his love of homemade ice cream. Nearly every day or evening we were home, he brought ice cream and Sam loved this routine. Papa would scoop an extra big bowl because he knew he was going to have to share with Sam. So by the last evening we were in Kansas, half way through supper, Sam looks at me and says, "Grandpa, ice cream!" Not tonight big guy. |

| Grandma and Griffin, loving some ice. |

The weather was awesome, so we made our way to the park. Here is a cute cousins pic. Not all three will fit in the same wagon for much longer. |
