| Borrowing our neighbors yard with especially beautiful bluebonnets |
I think that it's a requirement that every baby, child and pet must have their pictures taken in the bluebonnets if you live in Central Texas. Sam is no exception, and the bluebonnets and wildflowers are beautiful this Spring! Sam continues to grow at a ridiculous rate. We were comparing how big and long Quinn was at 36 weeks (Vera kept very good records) to what Sam was weighing in at 36 weeks old. Sam is exactly 1/2 lb lighter and a 1/2 inches shorter than Quinn was. So it's official, Sam is going to be a big guy, just like Daddy. We enjoyed a visit from Aunt Verna last week, and as always, we were all spoiled and sad to see her go. I came home after running errands, and all the indoor rugs were out on the porch. Apparently, Sam needing more "room to run" in his walker because he and Aunt Verna were having races!
So at 8 months, Sam has a total of 4 teeth. He is pulling up on his knees and just a few times to his feet. We are constantly on the look out for what mischief he is getting into, which feels like a full time job! Happy Spring to everyone!

This is his newest thing. He throws his arms up and wants you to cheer for him. "Yaaahh, Sam!!" |
Ahhh!!! He's the best!! He's just getting more and more cute!!
ReplyDeleteI had so much fun with Sam-the-Tank last week. And you and Quinn, too, of course!! He did say "DaDa" last week - although, it's more of a sound as opposed to a word. Whatever, he's brilliant!
