It is so hard to believe that Samuel is one month old, and actually about 6 weeks old in these photos. He has changed so much in just a few short weeks and keeps changing before our eyes each day. As the baby book says, he is starting to change from a "baby blob," which seems like an odd description, but somewhat accurate, to a responsive little creature who is cooing, and starting to smile purposefully, which is so awesome. His visual field has dramatically increased and he becomes easily distracted looking into space for what seems like forever. Apparently, reaching week 6 is a bit of a hallmark achievement and sleeping, eating, and just figuring out some consistency is supposed to happen. I'd have to say this is true for us and we're thankful for it!
