Halloween and Babies in Pumpkins!

The animal farm. Sam as the cow, Griffin as a puppy and Phoenix as a kitty cat
While in California, we went to the pumpkin patch in search of some large very pumpkins to hollow out and put the kids in. The babes were surprisingly patient, considering we were putting them in a gourd. They are also pre-teething, so they are all slobber monsters. All three of them were chewing on the edge of the pumpkins while trying to take their photos. I'm sure to cool, firm pumpkin felt good on their little gums. We also went to Eric's company Halloween party and the kids were able to go trick-or-treating. Since they just started eating solids, and not into the candy scene yet, the adults scored on the excellent candy. No skimping at that office party, bring on the Snickers! We dressed the kids up and they were so adorable, and we had a fun time!
At the Pumpkin patch. Not loving the pokey hay bales
Sam was a cow, a Holstein to be specific.

Naked babies in pumpkins. Only part naked really. It took some work with
several adults jumping around behind the camera man to get them all looking the same way.
Trial run to see if the kids would even fit. Needing some assistance from Dad as he was still a bit wobbly.

Chewing on pumpkins. Mmmm

Such a happy boy with so much to say!
