We were so lucky to have a wonderful visit from Auntie Ashley, who was here from Saint Louis. Unfortunately, Uncle Jonathan couldn't make it, but we had plenty of Skype time to see him, and for him to meet Samuel. Ashley is one of my oldest and dearest friends, and it was so great to get to finally introduce Samuel to her and they immediately fell in love with each other. I have to send a congratulatory shout out because Ashley just completed the Masters program this past May, and has obtained her Adult Nurse Practitioner degree. What an amazing achievement after so much hard work, and continuing to work as an ICU nurse while going to school, completing clinical hours, and just keeping up with an every day life. We are very, very proud of her accomplishments and know she will be an amazing NP! Since she has now graduated, she has the final step of taking state boards. So while she was visiting, she brought along some study material and I was able to quiz her as she held, walked, bounced and entertained Sam. It worked out for everyone, especially Sam, who was at the receiving end of lots of attention. We loved having her here and can't wait until the next visit, along with Jonathan!
