California Visitors

Macair is certainly the most adorable and easy going baby in the world! He has the sweetest
disposition and is just a joy to be around. We were able to have lots of baby cuddle time, it was the sweetest time ever.
Here is the star of the show, Macair! This was his first trip to the great state of Texas,  and we were so glad to welcome him! He was 11 months old during this trip in April, and is preparing to celebrate his 1st birthday in just a few days at the end of March. Anna, Eric, Phoenix, Griffin and Macair made a trip to see us in April and we had a great time while they were here. Phi, Fin and Sam are all 4 1/2 years old and had so much fun cousin time playing. Isla, at 2 1/2 years old, joined in the fun and was kept busy trying to keep up with her older cousins and brother. Macair also joined in the fun as quickly as he could, doing his army crawl across the floor at turbo speed chasing the kids. We pulled out the baby walker and he was even faster rolling after the big kids.
The weather was amazing the week everyone was here, and we took advantage of it and spent a lot of time outside. We had two great days at the park and picnicked one day. Sam was admate that we take a Duck boat tour. He had seen one of these boats when we went on a double decker bus tour when Papa and Grandma Pauline were here in January. It was pretty fun touring Austin in a truck that then turns into a boat, and we went into Lake Austin and puttered around. The kids loved being in the water and using their duck quackers to quack at all the folks on the street. Another day we went to Austin Aquarium, which is not a super fancy aquarium, but very kid friendly and hands on, they loved it. Of course there was a lot of good eating to be done and Anna, Verna and I enjoyed some long over due sister time. Quinn and Eric also got some bro-in-law time together and were able to brew some home beer as well as check out the recent Star Wars movie.

Kiddos making homemade ice cream, it's always a must when two or more Regier's are together. We had to get the kids in on the action and send this picture to Grandpa, the King of homemade ice cream, as he would be pleased to see his grandchildren continuing the tradition.

Everyone had a task of measuring ingredients and some whisking time for each of them.

Beginning of our Duck tour Adventure. Macair stayed home with Dad as it would
cut into his morning nap time. So it was fun to have the older kids, they loved it.

Silly Aunt Verna posing for the camera on Lake Austin.

It was a bit breezy, but overall a beautiful day. Mama and Isla cuddled up together.
Gotta get my girl cuddles anyway I can, she is so busy most of the time.

The big kids taking it all in

Aunt Anna/Mama and the kiddos practicing their duck calls. Needles to say, the whistles mysteriously disappeared shortly after we got home.

Hanging with Bitty-babe.

Isla is cheesing it up!

Aunt Verna attack!!! All the kids got in on it. Phi is somewhere strategizing her attack.

Awww, sweet boy and Aunt Verna checking out the fish at the aquarium. Look at those kissable cheeks!!

Griffin and Eric feeding the string rays, it was super cool, and weird.

It's nearly impossible to get a picture where all the kids are making normal smiling faces. Someone has to be making some kind of goofy face. This is a fairly good attempt.

Dad time! While the girls were away, Quinn and Eric took the kids to the train park to watch trains go by, play on equipment and throw rocks into water. It's a kid heaven and we frequent there often.

This is such a sweet picture. Isla took a total head dive at the park and had a big goose egg on her forehead. Here is Aunt Verna giving her the love and attention she needs to feel better. Thank goodness for Aunt Verna!.

Zilker train ride! Super excited!
Last by not least, my very special boy and his special talents. I'm very proud...
