Extreme Nesting

In reading the baby books and listening to experienced parents, we were advised to get the "big" house projects done before the baby arrives. We decided to take on the big project of redoing the house floors. This included removing the carpet and riping out the kitchen and bathroom tile.  And since I knew it would be increasingly difficult to bend over, paint, and yes, rip up the sub-flooring, with my growing belly, we decided to get the job done now. Even though Quinn did all of the hard work, it was quite a project that we were both glad to get done. In telling my good friend, Debbie, about our weekend project, she named us,"Extreme Nester's."

Living room with all the carpet removed, yuck!
Quinn decided to replace part of the sub-flooring,
as he was never quiet happy with it originally.

Saturday night, after flooring the living room. Quinn is trying
to get a head start in the kitchen before the morning.

And...replacing the kitchen sub-flooring and
leveling the kitchen. Who knew anyone could
break an 8 ton jack and require a 12 ton one to finish
the job.

Living room completed, but not yet put  back together

Kitchen completed and looking good!
